One line drawings . . .
- One line drawing of a still life – one line – only! (still life: a painting or drawing of inanimate objects, such as fruit, flowers, an arrangement on the table or floor, etc)
- One line Drawing of your favorite animal – one line – only! You may refer to photos or real life.
- One line Drawing of a pair of shoes – one line – only! This is a line drawing using a pen, pencil or marker – your choice and no color.
- One line Drawing of a sandwich – one line – only! This can be a breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner sandwich. Make a yummy sandwich, draw and eat.
Line Drawings . . .
- Thumb/finger print characters – print a group of at least 5 and add line details to give the characters expressions.
- Line Drawing of your favorite candy or sweet treat – This is a line drawing using a pen, pencil or marker – your choice and no color.
- Line Drawing – Hand Turkey – with textures (this is a line drawing – no color, add details with lines)
- Line Drawing of a breakfast – Remember: no color, details with lines, and try to draw what you see. This might be a weekend breakfast instead of a hurried school morning breakfast.
- Line Drawing of your opposite hand holding something – This is a line drawing using a pen, pencil or marker – your choice and no color.
- Line Drawing of a tool out of the tool box – This is a line drawing using a pen, pencil or marker – your choice and no color. (hammer, wrench, screw driver, hand saw, chisel, etc.)
- Line Drawing of silverware: Table knife, fork and spoon – This is a line drawing using a pen, pencil or marker – your choice and no color.
- Backpack – Choose yours or someone else’s backpack and position it to draw what you see.
- Toy – Draw what you see – place a toy in front of you and draw.
- Lunch – Plan a weekend day to draw this lunch – make, draw and then eat!

Objective:
- create a slideshow of art created with prompts
- add student (& family) art to slideshow
Process of Information:
- the prompts or drawing challenge will be giving during “art classroom” sessions
- brainstorm ideas
Participation:
- this is homework/out of the Art Room
- any age student may participate
- Yes! Parents – you are more than welcome to help or make your own.
- Yes! Students can buddy up for the homework.
- Create an art piece for every prompt or as many as you can.
Size?
- No matter what the size of the project, a photo will need to be taken.
- If your project is not “portable” – take a photo and email it to me
