This project came to me after looking at the Hippos at the Healing Garden near Bonner General Health and Hospital. Most of the year they are in a bed of mulch or dirt. I want more color around them, especially early spring and fall when the garden has less color. Fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Ball volunteered FS staff to take care of a small portion of the garden.
So this a great community project with 6th graders this year.
These rocks wintered inside. The weather is nice again and hopefully the 6th graders can do a walking field trip to place these in the Healing Garden downtown.
