Jan Brett is one of my favorite children’s book illustrator and author.  She has some wonderful “How to Draw . . .” videos on her website. I like to say ‘Jan Brett is teaching us a lesson today’ and run one of her videos. This one is a favorite of mine to share with Kindergarten (and older). I just love the expressions from these student’s art. Enjoy (and smell the gingerbread cooking!)
